Zeytintaşı Cave is located southeast of Gökçeler Quarter of Akbaş Village, 15 km. north of Serik district of Antalya. Located on the southern slope of Zeytinlitaş Hill, the cave is 54 km from Antalya, 16 km from Serik and 10 km from Aspendos.Zeytintaşı Cave, which was discovered by chance in 1997 through an artificial gallery opened for quarrying and declared a ‘Natural Monument’ in 2013, has been contributing greatly to the tourism potential of the region since its opening.The karst cave, which is estimated to have formed in about a million years, is divided into many small halls and chambers by dripstone columns. The cave has a warm and humid atmosphere and is 14 meters deep.
